    We are looking for a likeminded and passionate Lead Line Cook to join our small team. The ideal candidate will bring commitment to cooking consistently exceptional food. This is a starting position with an opportunity to move up to Sous Chef as our business grows. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Owner in managing and supervising kitchen activities: food preparation, cooking, ordering and cleaning. 

    • Maintain a well-organized kitchen and monitor the workflow to ensure efficiency. 

    • Keeping the weekly inventory.

    • Communicate with FOH staff to ensure smooth communication, quick resolution of any guest concerns and maintaining our style of service. 

    • Oversee the daily and weekly deep cleaning schedule and promote a clean work environment. 

    • Maintain highest level of food quality and safety. Cross-train with the head bagel baker and pastry consultant. 

    • Help with food preparation and dishwashing duties. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Passion for careful, quality food made with locally sourced ingredients. 

    • Experience as Lead Line Cook required. 

    • Baking experience is a bonus, but not required. 

    • Ability to collaborate with coworkers and interact professionally and friendly with guests.

    • Able to commit to and show up consistently each day and each week for work

    • Must like morning hours! We have good coffee :)

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Head Bagel Baker in all aspects of the bagel operations: mixing, shaping, baking, ordering. Keep up with the bagel baking schedule.

    • Maintain the daily and weekly deep cleaning schedule and promote a clean work environment. 

    • Train with our pastry consultant and bake the seasonal pastries for service.

    • Maintain the highest level for food quality and safety. 

    • Cross-train with the kitchen to learn preparation and pick ups on both hot and cold sides.

    • Help with food preparation and dishwashing duties when available. 

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of baking experience is highly desirable.

    • Some cooking experience is preferred. 

    • Must like morning hours!  We have good coffee.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, dinnerware and kitchen cooking equipment according to established procedures.

    • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. 

    • Organization and stocking of the clean dishes, utensils and cookware. 

    • Assist with the daily and weekly deep cleaning schedules. 

    • Train with the Sous Chef and Head Bagel Baker to learn food preparation recipes. 

    • Execute food preparation and communicate with the kitchen about prep needs. 

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a prep cook required.

    • Previous experience as a dishwasher is desired, but not required.

    • Basic knowledge of food handling.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Preparing coffee - working the espresso machine and drip. 

    • Dialing in espresso every morning. 

    • Consistently maintain the highest level of quality all coffee menu items.

    • Keeping the coffee area clean and tidy. 

    • Offer kind and friendly service to our customers.

    • Train with our coffee partner, Parlor Coffee.

    • Train other members of FOH staff on the espresso machine and drip methods.

    • Responsible for set-up and breakdown of the coffee station during opening and/or closing shifts including cleaning. 

    • Ensure coffee equipment is functional and communicate with owner/maintenance services when needed.Keep track of the inventory and place orders when needed.

    • Ensure food safety standards are met for the coffee program.

    • 2 years of Barista experience.

    • Preparing drinks, helping the barista when needed

    • Maintain a clean and professional environment at the counter and throughout the space, emphasis on guest-facing areas
