FANTZYE POPS UP!
FANTZYE ramps up production with 28 bagel pop-ups, 15 dinner pop ups, and 10 private events across the island between April and October. Hard work and lots of dough rounded out a profitable first year!
FANTZYE gets its start with on Martha’s Vineyard with pandemic friendly bagel pickups and a “fancy” yiddish name, inspired by founder Elana Carlson’s Jewish grandmother.

FANTZYE ON WHEELS
Elana reinvested the first profits into gut renovating a food trailer to expand opportunities as the world reopens and kitchen access becomes scarce.

FANTZYE wins
“best new business”
Early mornings and word of mouth build an avid following, earning FANZTYE the title of the years “Best New Business” by Martha’s Vineyard Magazine.
SUMMER 2022
FANTZyE TAKES THE SUMMER BY STORM
The FANTZYE trailer cruises into the West Tisbury Farmers Market, slinging inventive bagel sandwiches with local farm ingredients and bagel kits to long lines of summer revelers, all while executing over 30 private events across the season.

THE GREAT SCHLEP
With a worsening housing crisis affecting staff, commercial kitchen scarcity limiting production and no end in sight, FANTZYE sets their sights on the Husdon Valley and begins the search for a brick and mortar space to call their own.
